Double-digit years old and still going strong, if we don't die of black lung disease first. If we want to say something, we're going to say it prettily. Or ironically. Or both, really.

This journal is an exercise against the norms that bind us, an exercise against relativisms and gradients; for us, a double-digit-year-old thing with an XX gene and a 3000 year old tradition of being married off for mules and a history of being apologetic. The posts are determined to be forthcoming. Honest. Crude and vulgar, sometimes dirty. Don't you think it unnerves us, to say these things? We would never, in polite company, in real life company. But if you are offended, please voice your concerns in CAPSLOCKS, respondent graphic imagery, and flames. We don't care; we care. We might hate you for it; but we'll love you for it. We are attention whores; we want you to leave us alone. Pretentious bullshit? Maybe. But not as pretentious as this, with which we disagree most heartily:
